This course prepares the student to meet the job performance requirements of NFPA 1021, Standard for Fire Officer Professional Qualifications to the Officer I Level. This also meets the requirements of officer training as established by the State of Wisconsin in SPS 330. Students that are looking to certify at this level have to be Firefighter II and complete Fire and Emergency Services Instructor I before or after completing Officer I.
