Students will learn basic nutrition guidelines for a commercial dairy goat operation. Students will identify common feed stuffs, analyze nutritional quality of common feed stuffs and discuss nutritional requirements needed for dairy does, bucks, and wethers. Students will calculate a balanced ration for a goat herd using computer based resources.
